The Parent Teacher Fellowship
The Parent Teacher Fellowship, otherwise known as the PTF, is an organization at the school where every parent , teacher and administrator  are a member.
The PTF Council consists of the PTF Officers, the PTF Class Representatives, a Faculty Representative, the Headmaster and the Principal.*

The objectives of the PTF at CCS are:
  1. To present a constant witness of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
  2. To encourage and promote fellowship among parents, staff and teachers.
  3. To support CCS with general contributions or with non-budgeted materials (whichever may have the greatest need).
  4. To promote CCS within the community by attesting to the academic and spiritual growth opportunities available.
  5. To pray for God’s blessings on CCS.*
Welcome to the 2009-10 school year at Covenant Christian School! We are humbled and grateful that you selected us to be your PTF officers for this school year.

In our preparation over the summer, the officers talked about our purpose and goals. It is the PTF that builds community and provides the heartbeat of the school. We share a common goal – to train up our children as disciples of Jesus who will make a difference in their world. In order to keep our focus on this goal, we have adopted an annual theme. Our theme for 2009-10 is “Teaching Disciples, Touching the World.” This encapsulates the Great Commission of our Lord from Matthew 28:18-20:
"Jesus came and told his disciples, 'I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Each event that the PTF organizes will be focused on fulfilling a part of this overall theme. So, for each event, we will communicate how we see the purpose being fulfilled. This will help you decide in which events you and your family want to participate. And, it will help us plan only the most meaningful events. You will see that even our PTF meetings and fellowships will be don't-want-to-miss events.

However, PTF events can only occur with your help. We need the spiritual gifts, creativity, wisdom, energy, and time that God has given you for strengthening our school. We encourage you to volunteer to serve and to enthusiastically participate in the events that strengthen your family's faith.

Please contact your class PTF Rep or any of your officers if we can be of help to you.
